A former cook that became part of the fire corps. After her good friend, Flare, was killed in battle, Xhianil adopted her friend's eye tattoo design to remind her constantly of how much she's lost from the tigers.
Currently residing in a cell with Meta, after lashing out and near mortally wounding Fuegana in training. Though, she may get out on good behavior after saving Red from Briella's post-Khalira rage.
Her name is possibly from a combination, Xia and Nil. Xia, from Mandarin, meaning "Glow of the Sunrise", and Nil, from Latin, meaning "nothing, or void". So, her name could be translated as "Faded Glow" or "No Morning", both referring to her depression from losing Flare.
