A young warrior and one of Scyde's protegés, Ashaki is only about 20 years old. While quick and lethally efficient in battle, she can also get swept up in her own ego. She finds herself taking unnecessary risks to impress her little sister, Tam'syn, when she's around.

Ashaki's another physical powerhouse and a fun character to work with. The way Donnie has scripted the interactions between her and her sister Tam'syn over the years, it reminds Danny a lot of the sibling bickering he and his big brother used to have back in the day. In fact, to a certain extent, Ashaki's physical design is a feminine tiger version of Danny's brother, except that Ashaki has a six-pack (compared to his brother's Jell-O mold), and that Ashaki is allowed to have breasts. =D Ashaki is part of our line of "Big Cats," along withScyde and Shie. Ashaki's seemingly useless top was thrown in by Danny to parody all those instances, particularly in anime and manga, where unattached or improperly-fastened articles of clothing manage to hang on and cover the right parts no matter what happens. With Ashaki, on the other hand, her top falls off repeatedly. Ashaki's hairstyle is designed to echo the hairstyle worn by Delta in the Greg Evans' comic strip Luann.
